Moving Things Around

Open-uri
I am heading to New York City sometime this weekend. I will be meeting my sister again and bunking in her apartment, and I haven't seen her since September. Apparently, she has some souvenirs for me from her recent trip to the Philippines and Taiwan. Speaking of which, it is interesting when one's family members are living in different parts of the world, and the way things are moved around. One …

New for the Christmas Season 2010--Tickle Me Massa Doll

Open-uri

Shortly after that, it turned into a naked political arguement in the shower with Rahm Emanuel. Word also started to spread that the White House wanted to get rid of Massa. WTF? I guess

Legislature’s Soft Hiring Freeze Right Step

Word reaches us this morning that last night’s meeting of the Niagara County Legislature’s Administration Committee was testy—and in a way that should make county residents happy. Apparently, Administration Committee Chairman Keith McNall, a fairly conservative Republican from Lockport known for his quiet but direct style of management, put county department heads and our old pal, County Mana…

Thank you all for the birthday wishes! PRH and the babies took me out to breakfast, then we hit a couple of thrift stores, had lunch at one of my favorite spots, grabbed a bottle of wine (I'm kind of obsessed with pinotage), and came home with the sun still shining. I didn't have to change a sing…
